Timber West Construction Ltd. is certified to CSA W47.1 Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel Structures, which gives us a comprehensive service ability. Working from the ‘concrete up’, we can effectively manage the necessary supervision and skilled trades to complete (steel) structural and mechanical installations, renovations and repairs. Along with equipment maintenance, Timber West can also repair both conventional or hydraulic crane booms.
At the Prince George facility we can fabricate: pressure piping, structural steel, embedded metals, anchor bolts, transfer decks, conveyors, catwalks, stairs and handrails as well as bridge construction structural steel falsework.
Timber West's skilled field crews and supervisors have extensive experience in structural steel erection, equipment installations, precision machine alignment, air piping and hydraulic piping. Our completed projects demonstrate our commitment to quality and detail using measurables such as the inspection and cleaning of welds, ensuring machinery alignment is correct, using checklists when commissioning new machinery and completing the project safely.
In order to maintain the CSA W47.1 Certification, welders in Canada are required to be retested every two years with the Canadian Welding Bureau. Timber West welders are current and in good standing with CWB.
